A New Era for the Tortuga Society

We're officially in Beta!

The Tortuga Society has been in full swing for several months now, and I’m happy to report that at long last we’re taking our presence off Substack and onto a secure external website where we can maintain a substantially larger cut of the plunder.

Gentlemen… I present to you tortugasociety.biz!

From hereon out all membership fees will be paid entirely through this website.

For the purposes of opsec I’m also requiring all new members to be vetted in a fifteen minute intake session with yours truly before admitting them to our Telegram group.

All other resources will be available to you as soon as you purchase membership.

So what’s the value proposition?

The primary benefit you’ll receive is access to our Telegram group, which currently stands at 80 men and is growing rapidly. This is a highly active cohort of fantastically agentic guys of all ages and experience levels, and to my mind the camaraderie, candid advice, and networking opportunities you’ll get from these fellers is easily worth the price of membership all by itself.
Members will also receive lifetime access to Queen Anne’s Revenge (QAR), the AI job application tool we’re developing to offer Society members a leg up in the job hunt and automate away the most onerous part of the job stacking lifestyle.
For guys who don’t have the skills necessary to obtain a six figure remote job right now, we’ve designed a Buccaneer’s Bootcamp that will point you to everything you need to teach yourself the basics of Excel / SQL / Tableau / Python while fabricating plausible data analytics experience on your resume.
Several weeks after their intake session, all Society members will get a 30 minute coaching session with me where I’ll help them formulate a specialized strategy for job stacking (or otherwise arbitraging the market as befits their situation).
Members will also receive access to our central repository of stackable job listings, updated every day by our intrepid Zoomer cabin girl.
Finally, you’ll gain access to the Codex Tortuga—a constantly expanding compendium of miscellaneous resources to make your job stacking journey easier. The codex includes sample resume templates (both a formatted version for HR and an ATS-friendly version optimized for platforms like Workday), information on how not to get caught, and links to helpful AI resources that our most experienced job stackers are currently leveraging in their positions.

For these benefits we’re asking for a one-time fee of $250.

Meanwhile, for those of you who aren’t interested in job stacking, but *are* interested in leveraging the know-how of fellers who are constantly optimizing their CVs and applying for new roles (and are thus superbly plugged into new developments in the labor market), we’re also offering a la carte resume writing services to the general public:

What's next for the Tortuga Society?

I have lofty plans for the future, and will be pursuing some very exciting strategic partnerships in the coming months, but for the time being our main focus will be expanding our resources in response to the demands of our burgeoning membership.

In the medium term I’m looking to build an infrastructure to scalably facilitate reference fabrication in a way that’s totally impervious to background checks, while developing more tools like QAR to make job stacking practically easier for our boys.

In the long term the goal is to get my guys rich enough to turn this into a robust fundraising network, at which point I’ll look to pivot Tortuga into a Network State.

But one step at a time.
