Detecting a little tension on the tushy question here.

Walt's Gen Z followers know nothing of the pre-Sir-Mixx-A-Lot before times lol.

I get the sense that your embrace of dark triad traits is more performative than genuine. You don’t come across as an actual psychopath or sadist. It feels like you’ve internalized the idea that someone like Ted Bundy is what women want, so you’re mimicking that persona. But when female sexual transgressions get brought up, you seem genuinely upset about it. That doesn’t align with someone who’s truly amoral.

It is theatrical for sure (as is much of my personality being a literal theater kid), but only half performative I'd say. I'm nowhere close to a clinical psychopath or NPD but I display plenty such traits at the subclinical level and am obviously quite sadistic just on a bedroom level.

In terms of sexual morality--I am very indignant about obscurantism and denialism for sperg reasons but if you read my shit I am p much always rationalizing and intellectualizing both when people transgress against me and I transgress against others.

So amorality is actually my first impulse--or just a very weird kind of morality. Like when a girl cheats on me I kind of sigh and shrug my shoulders whereas when she renarrativizes or someone tells me to have a normal one I kind of want to toss them in a gas chamber.

You definitely come across as narcissistic, which might explain your attachment to the dark triad persona. A lot of narcs like to think of themselves as Patrick Bateman.

Bateman is very cringe at this point.

You need to nest the whole thing in five layers of recursive irony.

This is true. However, Walt is correct. Most women are inherently attracted to the Ted Bundy archetype on a visceral level.

Weirdly enough, Ted Bundy went to law school here and you can still see his photo up on the wall in the class photo from that year...I guess they didn't want to take down the whole class photo though he's individually been wiped from everything else. He was actually extremely, like model-handsome good looking. Kind of weird bc when I google him he doesn't look that good in any pics I find but in the class photo he stands out as obviously the best-looking one in a class of like 200 who are 95% guys. So...idk I think he was probably just really handsome and probably smart and a psychopath level liar.

True, I admit I am not attracted to serial killers. 😊

I think the Ted Bundy and Luigi Mangione phenomenons are similar. The fact that they are handsome is the sine qua non of the situation. However, the danger and mysteriousness they represent is what really causes the obsessive levels of interest.

There is no equivalent male idolization of female psychopaths. For example, there are no Elizabeth Holmes stans, even though she is objectively quite attractive.

Elizabeth Holmes is not objectively attractive, while Luigi Mangione would probably be the best looking guy in the bar 3 out of 4 times you'd go out.

If she looked like, idk, Ana De Armas or Dua Lipa, I'd bet you'd have male stans falling over themselves to white knight & explain away her crimes after seeing her cry once.

Ha, good point, totally agree.

Luigi Mangione fantasies are entirely different from Ted Bundy. Bundy was a sicko who kidnapped and carved up women for the thrill of it. Mangione shot one guy who he thought (in his painkiller scrambled brain) that he had an honest vendetta against. Gives the appearance of a duel even though it ultimately wasn't.

This podcast was wild, but Krypto Gal is right that Walt is strange. You do not meet many guys like him in the wild; the guy embodies multiple contradictions.(not in a bad way)

Yeah, I'm a huge interrupter. Just doing my part to disprove the commonly held notion that men are all horrible interrupters who talk over and mansplain people and that women are perfect angels who never do such things. 😉

> Gen Xers love talking about how nobody talks about them

Honestly I think this is lowkey attention seeking and insecurity at this point tbh

What they want is some sort of recognition (in Hegelian sense)

"You are right, nobody pays attention to me huhuuuuuuu"

What article were you referring to that Kate refused to discuss?

And don't be a pussy here, I'm not going to pile on the girl & sling hateful invective in her comments, I'm just curious.

Kate, I swear on my kitchen & my refrigerator of anabolic steroids that you're not going to find a single piece of commentary on the article from me.

Moreover, while as a whole I might not be particularly concerned by the feelings of solipsistic women (I'm not saying that's what she is bc I have no idea)...

Even if I loathed this woman's views, I wouldn't pile on bc I have a reflexive hatred of bullying esp. from chronically online internet people.

P.S. If you don't want to post it here, idk if you can DM it to me bc I follow you.

dude you got big ideas and think about them critically. I love your process even if your outcomes are questionable at best. I see why you get stuck in a recursive loop in some items but that is most likely because you are searching for information you don't have yet

thank you for the text summary as I don't have it in me for a 3-hour podcast
