Zoomers aren't the status seeking generation, the lost generation, the nihilism generation, the narcissism generation, the transactional generation, the low IQ generation, the no attention span generation, or the nazbol generation. Zoomers are the post-credence generation. We do not believe that effort will be rewarded, sincerity is unpunished, institutions work, the world is fair, or that commitment is honoured.

Metanarratives, political beliefs, and religious beliefs within zoomers remain because they are a low stakes way of trying to find collective meaning in a world which refuses it. The status-seeking, evasiveness, transactionality, quiet quitting, and low attention span are symptoms. Genuine narcissism is actually incredibly rare in anybody under the age of 25.

Phenomenal framework. The Stealth Archer thing nails something thats been bugging me about managng younger guys at work. They wont argue or pushback but somehow stuff just doesnt happen and when pressed they deflect in ways that make you feel weird for even bringing it up. Used to think it was just laziness but the illegibility point clarifies alot.

I can't speak to the Zoomers, but you nailed Gen X and Millennial masculinity perfectly.

Skyrim was like 2008.

All of the zoomers played it when they were 14 though, especially since they kept re-releasing it

Skyrim is to Zoomers as Harry Potter is to Millennials: a megapopular cultural product that defines each generation’s behavior

Incredibly bloomer and whitepilled take on zoomer boys, which I think is broadly correct. If anything, I think zoomer dudes have approximated mannerbunds better than bitchmade millenials and snake-egoist Gen Xers and whatever the nightmarish hell boomers are.

I am 100% a believer in zoomer supremacy now. I do think the clavicular stuff is actually bewildering to olds because olds cannot even comprehend of male solidarity, which seems to underlie a lot of Clavicular's attitudes towards other guys, mogging asides. It also reminds me of takes where people point out that boomer males largely see young men as their enemies to be taken down - and honestly I don't see zoomer males doing that to each other!

Incredible how accurate this. Also clearly shows that the more spergy you are, the older your generational mindset becomes. As an autistic zoomer, I’d got the wizard social tendencies totally beaten out of me cause I just couldn’t survive social combat. Stealth archer is much better even if it feels very defeatist coded.

Huh... lots of big words. Let's try to define the problem first. Through most of history, men who had a job and an income also had a wife and thus got sex. This social contract is over now, it is sexy men who get sex, but also one is still not exempt from having a job either, one must make a living somehow. Thus men are now angry because they both have to work a job and also work at being sexy.

But women also have the same exact problem, coming from the other angle, formerly women only had to work on being sexy (and housework) and a man would economically support them, now they have to do both.

This makes both women and men generally bitter, both are in the same bind: work a job AND work on being sexy.

The problem is they keep blaming each other.

Sorta zoned out during the Millennial and Zoomer parts but you got Gen X right. I oversee a few teams, all made up of Millennials and Zoomers; I tend to zone out when Millennials speak, they just go on and on while being so fucking emotional and self-absorbed. And over what? I've usually lost the thread by the time they've reached the end of their monologues. They're fun to ridicule though. Lots of great lines to laugh about post-meeting.

The Zoomers barely say a peep. I like that about them. Not the hardest workers though, which they seem to be proud of. Also lack pretension, which is always admirable.

Being the local Zoomer and resting between the sperg and neurotypical ends of the scale, I feel pretty well read to filth. Great piece.
