I said this to AP on my first podcast appearance that "female president" is kind of a false understanding of how women hold political power. Historically, a tribe or a village may be run by a Big Man, but that man may be manipulated/advised by his wife, or maybe there's a grandmother matriarch who had 12 kids, all of whom are physically dominant and successful at war, but the *real* power is not the big boys who are out bashing heads, but the woman who is keeping the tribe cohesive and united.

I have seen it the other way around, small town, old woman mayor, because she was the only one who did not hate paperwork, but she hated argument and confrontation, so he hired a tough guy as a vice-mayor to do just that. It is unclear who had the real power. They just cooperated well.

There is very often no "real power", multiple people can cooperate well.

It simply feels sexier to be a Josephine de Beauharnais or Gloria von Thurn und Taxis than to be a Thatcher or a Hillary. The formers throw the best parties, anyway.

I suppose where the rubber hits the road is that there ARE still cultures and institutions where men exercise essentially total power and control...yet none of the online right-fantasists elect to join any of them:

1. The FLDS

2. The military

3. Afghanistan or Somalia

The question to me is which they would pick, if they were forced to choose to live in just one for the rest of their lives: one of the all-male-power institutions described above, or a modern shared-power workplace, or a kindergarten run by women?

I know they want to choose none and instead choose the fantasy version in their head that's an all male power version but where that someone doesn't mean a bunch of guys above you with their boot on your neck and taking your women and children. But if they HAD to choose? I actually think most of them would pick the kindergarten.

Do we get to fuck the kindergarten teachers?

When people hit 50, differences between women and men largely disappear, due to hormones going out and life experience wisdom coming in.

And no one should have power before 50, we have bad experiences with women under 50 like the PM's of NZ and Estonia, emotional and undecided, and bad experiences with men under 50 like Hesgeth, too much of a testosterone bomb.

TLDR yes they can be trusted with power as long as they act like men ie Elizabeth the 1st or any other successful female ruler.

Only autistic women can be trusted with power. Who are even better than men are with power.
