A great listen, especially for those exploring ADHD. I wish more mental health providers were as open to helping people as Walt's shrink. Some seem act more as gaslighting gatekeepers.
On supplements... I've found a decent boost in my concentration and ability to power through grunt work thanks to high EPA/DHA Omega-3 (Nordic Naturals and Viva Naturals have good reputations/reviews), CoQ10 (Qunol's Ubiquinol), 1 mg Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin form), Magnesium Glycinate, L-Theanine, and Rhodiola Rosea.
CDP Choline and Phosphatidylserine are next on the list to try.
I always suspected you were actually a patient confined to a mental hospital, and that all your stories are complex hallucinations. This podcast confirmed it for me.
States are really cracking down on stimulant ADHD meds with telehealth. There are a few non-stimulants that are at least worth trying. I just got approved for Guanfacine, which is also supposed to pair well with Adderall in lowering come down effects and jitters.
I'd stay away from Strattera/Atomoxetine though... 8% chance it'll make you impotent or have the peeing problems of a 70 year old.
