How did American Indian become "Native American" in 1990? Is their some subterranean chamber in the bowels of the Harvard English department where they concoct new words to use?

Midget has an aura of confidence with one’s self. Little Person is patronizing as it implies a weak sense of self and something inherently wrong with you. No porn whore will ever fuck you out of novelty if they need to call you little person in their porn title

> blackness will always code to European-derived peoples as evil, chthonic, chaotic. When white people hear “black” we all think at least briefly and precognitively of night, danger, ambiguity—and impenetrable forests, long winters

My understanding is that this is exactly why they switched from "Negro" to "Black" in the first place. Some nationalist types liked that it was more confrontational and masculine and started insisting on it.
