You're hilarious but overstimulated. If I was your editor I'd tell you try, just as an experiment, to write in the style of Raymond Carver. Mix in a little discipline and restraint and you could be brilliant.

Also probably cut down on the Adderall.

“Old age and treachery will win out over youth and enthusiasm every time.” Us living Boomers survived our youth and inexperience and you f++ks are still stuck in yours. When your survivors finally escape your collective condition of long delayed adolescence you will be as cynical, cunning, snarky and treacherous as we Boomers are when you take over, if not more so, and the ancient cycle will continue. There is nothing you can do about it either short of suicide 😆😂😜😝🖕🏻😎. Bwah, ha, ha!

"...fake and gay..."

Which actually matches up very nicely with AOC and Buttjudge.

All the best Recruiters I’ve worked with have either been girls like Lucy or gay men with unlimited gravitas. One of the ones like Lucy couldn’t help but sound like she was flirting in every interaction. She was way too extroverted for my tastes, not too mention I’m too married, but I will not lie that her enthusiastic welcome did help convince me to take my most recent job.

Enlightening.

My loathing of HR was half based on the annually increasing number of referrals I continue to get for telling colleagues they are slow, stupid, in violation of operating protocol, or some combination thereof. Now I'm rethinking this hatred, because I haven't actually been reprimanded, only spoken to, sympathized with, and politely nudged to be softer in delivering corrective feedback to the overly sensitive incompetents that HR has surrounded me with. Which forces me to accept the observation here that they're not bought into the girlboss culture/corporate ideology. They just like the company of a dickhead.

So thank you.

The other half of my hatred stands, on the principle that do-nothings take up salary space that could be distributed to the 20% in the Pareto Principle, the actual drivers of commerce.

What I'm most blown away by is that Walt's Adderall still works. Ever since the pandemic my generic script just gives me headaches and high blood pressure

Your writing style is like acid. Extremely stimulating, with only occasional sense. Very potent on the linguistic senses or something
