On today’s episode of Walt Right Perspectives I speak with
—the first Black dude to appear on this pod and the first melanated matey of the Tortuga Society. Some of you may recall his handle from the Testimonials I posted a few months back; being quite the hustler by disposition, Marcus was actually one of the first members of the Society to leverage our resources / community to secure a second remote role —a highly useful data point whenever my boys are getting a bit too lazy about lining up new interviews and I need to whip these autistic racists into shape.
In terms of background Marcus is in his thirties and originally hails from the burbs of SoCal, where he grew up in a middle class family alongside lots and lots of Asians. He’s also employed in the Commercial Real Estate sector, and actually intends to publish several articles on that subject over the next few months. Be sure to give the man a follow in preparation for these articles, which sound like they’ll be quite useful.
Today though I just wanted to bring Marcus on Walt Right Perspectives to finally do a proper Black Guy Episode, because at this point I’ve somehow managed to interview no less than three Black chicks while completely neglecting the brothas!
And you’ll be glad to know the dude didn’t disappoint—this is EASILY one of the best convos I’ve had on the show to date, spanning 3+ hours of juicy realtalk covering all the questions less spergy and insane wypipo like yourself are too nervous to ask.
Enjoy, fam.
